How it started

Michelle Davis, owner of JumpFit Now,  was introduced to Rebound Shoes in the spring of 2012.  Having been involved in personal fitness her entire life, she was thrilled to learn about this unique cardio fitness class.  Diagnosed with spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease, she had to find a workout that had less impact on her body while still being able to focus and maintain her health and fitness goals.  No longer able to jog on a hard pavement,  or participate in high intensity fitness classes that could not protect her back, she was searching for a fitness class where she could burn major calories and have FUN at the same time!

After being convinced to give the boots a try, it took 30 seconds and it was love at first jump!  I was bouncing like ‘Tigger’ with ‘mini trampolines’ on my feet.  Finally!  A workout that did not bore me, and put a huge smile on my face because it just made exercising FUN!  I knew I had to become an instructor of this amazing and unique cardio fitness program! I became a certified  Group Fitness Instructor and  Licensed Kangoo Jumps Instructor in May of 2013 and have been teaching these classes for 11 years globally.

 “What I love most about the classes I teach is the moment I see people fall in love with this fun and dynamic fitness program just like I did!  I understand the health challenges we all face as we grow older,  and trying to find an exercise that has less impact on the body while also having the ability to burn major calories  (12 to 18 calories per minute) in a safe, fun and supportive class environment is HUGE!

The key to success as an instructor is focusing on your students and their individual needs, and making it a safe, fun and encouraging environment for everyone of all ages and fitness ability!  The  ability to see the positive effects of people adding this to their fitness regime and falling in love “one jump at a time” is the best “feel good” feeling in the world!
